NewsArcher It is not hard to figure out when Archer and his siblings, Cupid, Lacy, and Arrow, arrived at TALGV. Archer is an 11-week old, fuzzy, black “Newfie” (Newfoundland) mix with a “sweet as candy” disposition but, unlike his purebred relatives, he will be only a “middling” size when grown. He and his littermates have had their puppy shots, been “debugged,” and are ready to go to homes where they’ll be loved and trained and become devoted members of the family. Isn’t it time for a furry bundle of joy in your life? PeeWee The reason that Pee Wee is at TALGV is because he was too playful for the older cats in his home. So…if you have boring, older cats that aren’t interested in fooling around, then PeeWee is probably not the guy for you. However, if you think that a two-year-old, orange goofball guy might add some sparkle to your life, then Pee Wee could just fit the bill. He loves people, really enjoys sleeping with them, and has a lot of kitten antics left in him, so he’s pretty much the perfect pet for perfect people. Jax Jax is one lucky boy. First off, he’s a black Lab mix, which is an automatic plus. But when his previous owner found him, his back was injured, and he could not walk. She could not afford veterinary care, so she massaged him for hours every day, and now, several months later, he shows absolutely no signs of ever having been injured. Jax is a year old and weighs 35 pounds, so the “mix” in his background has kept him at a nice medium size. He has a wonderful disposition and loves to play with people and other dogs and ride in the car. Jax will make a wonderful addition to your family. Carl Carl has been very talkative, but if you’d through what he’s been through, you’d be talking about it, too. Carl thought his life was pretty much in order until his family suddenly just up and moved and left him behind to fend for himself. So here he is, a handsome 2-year-old black and white gentleman who is neutered, in excellent health, and being cared for by some very loving TALGV volunteers. What Carl doesn’t have is his very own home where he can rule the roost. If you’d like an affectionate, appreciative, amiable, furry, feline companion, think Carl.
