Vicki Fitzsimmons, soprano, is giving a Voice Recital for the benefit of St. Andrew's Children's Clinic on Sunday, April 17.

The recital will start at 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall at St. Francis- in-the- Valley Episcopal Church, 600 S. La Canada Drive.

A Green Valley resident, Vicki will sing several sacred songs including compositions by Copland, Gounod, Handel, Malotte, and Webber.

She will be accompanied by Gordon Swanson of Tubac. Her special quest is Tamara Kahrimanis, cantor at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Green Valley.

Vicki and Tamara will sing two duets, and Tamara will perform a piano solo.

Vicki recently performed a recital of Italian arias and art songs at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Nogales, Ariz. She is a member of the St. Andrew's Choir.

The recital is free, but attendees are asked to bring a donation for the clinic, either a cash donation or something on the clinic wish list: children's chewable vitamins with minerals, disposable diapers (all sizes), food supplements (Ensure, Pediasure), physical therapy (exercise) balls.

There will be a reception following the recital.
