Mary E. Siesseger

Nov. 8, 1923 -- Nov. 21, 2004

Mary is survived by daughter Jane Kosterlitzky and husband Ken; brother Alfred Miles and wife Joan; nephews Mike, Tom and Kevin Miles and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 61 years, John; infant son John, parents Reed and Myrtle Miles, and brothers Robert and William.

Born in Howard County, Iowa, Mary graduated from Cresco High School. Mary's higher education was completed at Coe College and the University of Northern Iowa, where she earned her Master's Degree.

Her 35-year teaching career included Iowa schools in Mt. Vernon, McIntire and Independence.

She gave of her time and talents to hospice, Stephen Ministry, her church choirs, community, educational and other church organizations.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. at Valley Presbyterian Church.
